Saturay Leftover Day
Interested as I am in the work of Stan Lee and Dan DeCarlo, as soon as I had acces to Newspaper Archive, I tried to find samples of the newspaper version of their My Friend Irma comic. Or actually, they based the comic on a popular radio show and there was a newspaper strip based on the same show - which at first wasn't written and/or done by Lee and DeCarlo, but when it failed to sell enough papers to pay the original team, Stan and Dantook over for a short while. Well, needless to say I did only find samples of the earlier version or otherwise you would have seen them before. And not in the best condition either. Ths really is a leftover.
